Accepted as masterstudent in the Musical Accademy of Siena/Italy, Boian Videnoff is going to begin his studies with Maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti.
The students are going to conduct the Sofia Festival Orchestra in different public concerts.

After the very succesful concert last year, Boian Videnoff will conduct the Varna Philharmonic Orchestra again. The orchestra invited him for October, 5th, but also concerts in spring 2008 are already in planning.

Greatings from the Teatro dal Verme!
There was held the masterclass with Prof. Jorma Panula this september. After a hard selection, Boian Videnoff was choosen by the maestro to conduct the Orchestra of the Pomeriggi Musicali of Milano as active participant.

A wonderful and very intesive masterclass with one of the greatest conducting professor, Maestro Jorma Panula (Royal College of Music Stockholm).

It took some time, but now the recording of the 'New Year's Eve Concert' in Shenyang (31.12.2006) is available in the Media Gallery. You can watch the recordings of the Hungarian Dances N° 1 & 5 or Johann Strauss' 'Die Fledermaus' Ouverture, 'Wiener Blut' andTritsch-Tratsch Polka in the Video Gallery or just listen to them in the Audio Gallery. | 21.12.06 - 04.01.07 - China Tour with 'Mannheimer Ensemble' |

On December, 21st the 'Mannheimer Ensemble' goes on tour in China. A very prestigeous program and different young soloists are going to start with the 60 musicians, members of the symohonic orchestra thrue its journey in northern China. Two concerts are going to be held in Shenyang, one in Baotou and in one in Wuhai. On the tour program there are a Mozart Violin Concerto KV 218 and Piano Concerto KV 414, Figaro Ouverture, Brahms: Hungarian Dances No. 1 & 5 Strauss: Tritsch-Tratsch Polka, Wiener Blut and 'Fledermaus' Ouverture and the Radetzky Marsch. The first part of the program is granted to the year 2006, to W.A. Mozart's 250th birthday. The second part is granted to the new coming year 2007 - with many dances and famous pieces from the vienniese symphonic repertoire.

On November, 3rd Boian Videnoff conducted the Varna Philharmonic Orchestra, starting with Sibelius' Valse Triste and Beethoven's 3rd piano concerto, performed with the Italian pianist Fedele Antonicelli. For the second half , the 7th Symphony of Beethoven was on the program. The concert was recorded by the television, and the interview with Boian Videnoff was broadcasted in the National Television of Bulgaria on november, 7th at 9.00 am. Many newspapers and internet magazines wrote about the event in Varna, and presented the concert of the young conductor as the sensation of the month.

News from Italy: The tour with the 'Mannheimer Ensemble' is over now, and it was a great success, different newspapers wrote fabulous critics about the concerts performed in the different citites of the region Marche in Italy. On the program was the Mozart Divertimento in E major KV136, the Haydn Flute concerto in E major (soloist: Alessandra Russo), in the second half Grieg's Holberg Suite, Sibelius' Valse Triste, and Shostakovitch Adagio and Allegretto arranged for string orchestra by Christian Sikorsky. The program finished with brothers' Strauss Pizzicato Polka. Thanks to this great success next year's Italy tour with the 'Mannheimer Ensemble' is already in planning and will include even more and more important concerts.
