Born in 1987 to a family of well known musicians, Boian Videnoff grew up in Italy and Germany. He got violin, piano, oboe, later on also singing lessons and developed interest in Jazz, too. He performed as a soloist and chamber musician as well as in Jazz-Trio and Big Band. Early awards followed, like the first prize for chamber music at the competition ‘Jugend musiziert’ in Germany. He continued his musical education in Mannheim and Berlin - studied piano and conducting and was accepted in 2008 in the conducting class of Maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti at the ‘Accademia Musicale Chigiana’ in Siena/Italy. In addition he also attended master classes with Prof. Jorma Panula.

Boian Videnoff made his conducting debut in Germany, at the age of 18. His first appearance on stage was a great success, warmly welcomed by the critics and the audience. Since 2006 various engagements followed, including concert tours in Italy and Bulgaria. Following an invitation of the ‘National State Agency of Arts’ in Shenyang/China, he established a symphony orchestra of more than 50 students from 16 countries, all studying in German Music Academies and toured in China for 14 days, attracting great public interest - all concerts were sold out well in advance and were broadcasted by national radio and television channels. The tour reached it’s culmination at the traditional New Year’s Concert in the Liaoning Grand Theatre in Shenyang before an audience of 3000 people. In september 2008 Boian Videnoff was chosen by Gustavo Dudamel (new Musical Director of ‘Los Angeles Philharmonic’), among many other applicants from Germany, to conduct the famous Venezuelan ‘Simón Bolívar Orchestra’.

Since 2006 Boian Videnoff is Principal Guest Conductor of ‘Varna Philharmonic Orchestra’ and as such he is supporting young and highly gifted soloist from various nationalities. He has already conducted the following orchestras: ‘I Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano’, the ‘Sofia Festival Orchestra’, the ‘Mannheimer Ensemble’, the ‘Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra’, the ‘Academic State Symphony Orchestra of St.Petersburg’ and the ‘Riegelsberger Kammerorchester’ with major works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Dvorák, Rossini, Martucci, Grieg, Reger, Sibelius, Debussy, Orkin, Strauss, Mahler and Shostakovitch. Within the next concert season 2008/09 he will conduct professional orchestras in Germany, Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.
